"What's wrong with them?"

The fabric mostly.  The factory substituted with a very thin cotton,

not the usual nice linen we requested.  Far too thin to command top dollar.

Secondly, the did not press or starch them --- and they need it bad!

The Battenburg lace is done by hand and without proper starching,

they look really poor!
